Stories are fun!  Stories are powerful, whether real or imagined. 

Try out the following prompt and see where it leads you. 

Celebrate!

• If you could celebrate something, what would it be?  Imagine the event as if it is happening; i.e., in the present tense.  What is happening?  Who, if anyone, is present?  In what way are they involved?  What sounds do you hear and what do you see?  What makes it a celebration?

• Imagine you are telling this story to someone sometime in the future.  Who would be your listener?  What would be the occasion?  What might be their response?

• Be sure to consider using dialogue and imagery.
